In the ocean, Cleaner shrimp setup ‘cleaning stations’ where larger fish gather to have parasites removed.
Because of such activities cleaner shrimp are extremely popular in the aquarium trade.
They are easy to care for, grow no larger then 5cm and eat various foods such as frozen, pellets or flake.
Cleaner shrimps require stable water parameters and require a salinity between 1.023 to 1.026 and temperature between 23c and 26c.
